Mama's Boys
I actually had this onsie on Quinton and Corbin saw it and said, "I want love mommy shirt" (because he knows he has one that matches). They had never worn their shirts on the same day and I had never gotten a picture of them together with them, so I thought this was an opportune time before Quinton outgrows his! Aren't they handsome?

Smiles & Coo's
About 2 or 3 times a day Quinton will be WIDE awake and willing to talk and coo at us. He absolutely loves his family, especially Corbin whose voice he recognizes as well. Below is a video of one of Quinton's conversations with us... although it seems they are never as cute as soon as they see the camera pointed in their direction. Sometimes I wish my eyes could just capture and record it all. Enjoy!

60 years!
Below is a video clip of some of the great-grandchildren celebrating a good time with Ione & Papa's player piano... those kids only wished they could play that good... but it was fun to pretend. We caught Corbin and Kimball movin' to the music.

Dancing Queens
I saw this musical on Broadway in NYC about 3 years ago and found myself dancing in the aisles with my mom and sister to the AMAZING music. About 2 years ago traveling Broadway show visited Gammage, here in the Phoenix area and my ENTIRE family went and once again all the girls were dancing in our seats (making the balcony where we were seated literally shake)! Yesterday, before my sister Mandy left after a 2 week visit from Seattle we had to see the new movie re-make of Mama Mia... and we were definitely not disappointed! Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan were surprisingly wonderful singers and actors and although it was strange to see 007 break out in song, he did a great job at it and the role was fitting for both actor and actress. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend taking your girlfriends, moms, and sisters. Take your husbands too... they might just be surprised to find themselves dancing in the aisles!

Cousin's Camp 2008

Over 30 years ago my grandmother Ione started the Cousin's Camp tradition. For 1 week during the summer all the cousins (age 5+) came to my grandparents cabin in Pine, AZ for fun, games, swimming, crafts, snacks, treasure hunts, movies, hikes, archery and more. Now that Ione's grandkids are all grown and married the 2nd generation of cousins has started cousins camp. Last week my mom had all 7 of her grandkids and all 3 of her daughters at camp with her. Corbin had a blast playing with his cousins around the clock for 4 whole days! Now that we're home he keeps asking, "Where cousins go?" He enjoyed many firsts including roasting a marshmallow, dressing up as a cowboy, making crafts, hiking through the forest, picking fresh produce out of the earth to eat, watching cement trucks and dump trucks drive by, playing with playdoh, taking a long bubble bath and hanging out with the big kids. His favorite was swinging with Landon and Kimball.

What I did while they were gone.
This is what I did while Holly and the boys were up at the cabin. I enjoyed the peace and quiet but man did I miss them a lot. I love my family very much.
1. Fixed the AC unit
2. Tore down Corbin's crib
3. Put up a twin bed for Corbin and got his room read for him when he came home (He thought he was the coolest kid in the world last night when he came home and saw his new bed.)
4. Ripped down the old closet doors in our guest room and put up new ones that actually slide
5. Took Yoda for a mile run two nights out of the four. (I thought he was going to pass out but he made it the whole way without stopping)
6. Relaxed and watch some movies I know Holly really doesn't like because they are war movies.
7. Got a new suit for Quinton's blessing in a few weeks
8. Cleaned out the garage and washed the cars.

What is a Man to do with no wife and kids home?
This is the question of the week for me. Holly took Corbin and Quinton up to her Grandparents cabin with her sisters and their kids. So I am stuck home during the evenings and at work during the days. I am up for any good advice of what I can do while the wife and kids are away.
Thanks
Jeff

Memories
Memories
I totally want to hear fun stories...I can't promise I will get back to you right away. .Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

4 weeks!
It may still be in the mail for some of you, or I had your wrong address or no address at all. Please email me your updated address if you would still like a hard copy, otherwise enjoy this digital version. We can't believe it's been 4 weeks already. Time flies and we're loving every moment!

The 3rd Week
Sorry about the twists and turns of the camera, I forget that I can't do that if I want to post the video here. I'll also apologize about the background noise from Corbin, he always has to be heard. Quinton has really begun to focus better with his eyes and has started responding to us. Isn't he so handsome? We can't ever get enough, of course.
