Phoenix Children's Museum

Corbin's favorite channel to watch is 8, PBS kids: you know Cailou, Sesame Street, Curious George, Clifford, Sid the Science Kid, Super Why.... etc. (I don't let him watch all of those everyday, but those are his favorites). Well, the other day we saw a commercial for a FREE day at the Phoenix Children's Museum with appearances from Elmo, Grover, and Roxie the cow courtesy of Shamrock Farms. Jeff and I have been wanting to go, so we jumped at the opportunity and got there early Saturday morning. It's a good thing we did because it was a ZOO! We sampled Shamrock Farms' new Essentials milk line and made our way through the museum. It was perfect for Corbin-- he's at that age to soak it all in and have enough patience to figure out how things work and why. He loved it. We could have spent hours there had it not been so packed. Next time we'll definitely have to go when its not free to the public so we can take more time and see more things. Nonetheless, 2 hours was just enough time and all 4 of us enjoyed it. Here are a few pics:

I never knew they had such a place. Wonder why they don't have anything like that in happy valley with all the kids?

Cute pictures. Looks like you guys had so much fun. Hayden has kind of grown out of the Caillou phase - finally! That show was a little much for me. ;)

We will have to go with you guys next time we are in town! Kimball loved it when we went in December.

Kimball is jealous that Corbin got to stand next to Elmo! We have watched the slide show like 20 times. Kimball keeps saying, "Obin? Elmo?" So cute!

We've been wanting to go, too!
Honestly, I've found that "free" days places usually aren't worth the crowds. We'll have to meet up and go sometime!
